The right partner can make all the difference. As a higher ed administrator, catalyzing and growing mutually beneficial partnerships was an important part of my job. For example, as VP at a community college, I served as the K-12 lead, oversaw business relationships, worked with funders, and coordinated with government officials statewide. As Executive Director of The Foundry Community in Lincoln, I launched a corporate sponsorship program as well as a pilot internship program with a local university that was so well received, participation doubled in the second year.
